CFBHN’s Consumer and Family Affairs department is offering free web-based trainings to individuals seeking certification as a Certified Recovery Peer Specialist or maintain certification through the Florida Certification Board.
Applicants can choose a variety of webinars that include Advocacy, Mentoring, Recovery Support and Self-Care, Professional Responsibility and Ethics, and Cultural Competency that meet the Florida Certification Board’s training requirements.
Once you complete the registration (see link below) and submit the webinar of your choice, you will receive an email that provides you a pre-test and further instructions for our training process. Please note that you must complete the webinar viewing within 72 hours of receiving the link before the link closes.
After viewing the webinar, you will be required to complete a posttest, training evaluation and return them to CFA.training@CFBHN.org. CFBHN will score your posttest and upon a score of 70% and above, you will receive your certificate of completion including CEU’s.
